Xenolux - Iratus - HEADGEAR VI (2018)
This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made for the Five and Diamond Sixth Annual Headgear Art Show and shown on August 2, 2018.
A head piece harvested from Iratus insects, a carnivorous creature from the edges of the Kuiper Belt. Because of their remote environment, their exoskeletons are highly sought by Kuiper Häxa, wearing them as symbols of strength.
- Designed and handmade by the artist: Xenolux
- Materials: Oil tan cow leather, emu bones, antique beading, snake patterned goat hide fur, blue resin
- Bones are articulated and move by gently pulling on the strings.
- One of a kind.
