This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made for the Five and Diamond Ninth Annual Headgear Art Show and shown on June 18, 2021.

All Petals Pieces are made by hand. Each contains over 300 pieces of individual fabric. My current works are called the Shiva Collection. They are each inspired by the Status of the Hindu God Shiva (The remover of Obstacles, God of Dance). Each piece has a series of outer rings - the rings symbolize the circle of life and how we are all connected (Life comes full circle). Petals Pieces are one of a kind and no two are ever alike. Created, From my head, to my heart, to my hands - to you.

FABRIC, VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE JEWELS AND JEWELRY, FRINGE, WOOD

WEARING INSTRUCTIONS

The Pieces are light and balanced. To Wear, there are three hair combs on the inside front and an adjustable back strap. Put the headpiece on your head the same as you would a wide headband ensuring the combs "Grab" your hair. Put the back strap under your hair and adjust till it feels comfortable and in the right place. NOTE: At night, be sure to turn on the lights - there is a small switch on the back right side of the piece.

> For Clothing, wash in cold water and hang dry. If it has a remove-able collar then remove before cleaning.

> For Jewelry, wipe gently with soft cloth.

> For Leather, spot clean using a Leather Cleaner and use a Leather Conditioner to prevent drying.

> For vinyl, spot clean with gentle soap and water. Dry immediately after.
