This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made for the Five and Diamond Ninth Annual Headgear Art Show and shown on June 18, 2021.

Completely handcrafted, painted and Guilded in gold leaf. Constructed entirely of leather. Full grain leather cut from the bend of the bovine then tooled, molded and hand painted in flat black. Gold leaf accents were applied and eel skin medallions. Fully adjustable and lined with lambskin for added comfort. The design for this crown was inspired by Alien skeletal anatomy and a highly advanced civilization of extraterrestrial super beings who honor and revere the preservation of their culture. I established KATRAA in 2015, and over the course of 6 years it has grown into a design house with a wide range of specialization including, but not limited to, bespoke luxury leather apparel and accessories, to latex fashion, welded wearable art, industrial design, metal sculpture and now, interior design and lighting elements. With over 20 years in metal fabrication, design and welding, KATRAA is constantly evolving, inventing, and tapping into new and exciting markets.
