This is a one of a kind piece of wearable art made for the Five and Diamond Ninth Annual Headgear Art Show and shown on June 18, 2021.

Here is a 5 3/4” tall bowler bowler style hat gilded with gold leaf and finished with a grosgrain aim ribbon band, binding, and inner band for comfort.

MATERIALS USED

Felt, wire, grosgrain ribbon, gold leaf

 

WEARING INSTRUCTIONS

Do not wear in the rain or get wet, the gilding has been sealed for protection and durability, but it is not waterproof or suitable for extreme weather. The inner crown of the hat can be spot cleaned with a damp soft towel.
